OUR STORY

Bay Baptist Academy began as a burden in the hearts of four missionary families who wanted to reach not only their own children but the many others that they minister to as they seek to start churches in each township of Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Opening the school as an extension to their local churches will provide a way to reach young people both spiritually and academically. It will help to instill in their hearts a Biblical worldview that will allow them to be both academically and spiritually equipped for life beyond their school years. The goal of BBA is for students to learn how to apply Biblical truth in their everyday living, in the hope that they will teach their children the same. Almost one third of the South African population is children. If we begin training young people to think and act Biblically in their early years, there is hope in reaching future generations of South Africans and leaving a heritage that will last for years to come.
